Exciting British Bred Sire
Sir Solstice, awarded an Eventing First Premium at the 2010 BEF Futurity Evaluation, with the only mark of '9' from the Futurity vet at Myerscough across all the disciplines and age groups, was described by the Assessors as "well developed with good proportions, a good hind leg in trot, good power and good extension in canter and mannerly."
Owner-bred in Britain, by the AES sire Crackenthorpe Formula One and out of SHB(GB) graded mare, Toomyvara II, Sir Solstice is the ultimate modern event horse, combining the very best of warmblood and thoroughbred bloodlines.
He has tremendous presence and scope, inheriting from both parents the elastic paces and quality of movement required for top level dressage, together with a wonderful, trainable temperament.
Bred from proven performance bloodlines
Crackenthorpe Formula One is a very successful warmblood stallion, winning at national Small Tour, with the potential to reach Grand Prix. His ability matches his many illustrious relations - he jumps 1.70m with ease. He was the National Dressage with Jumping Champion in 2000 and has been described by a German breeder as “the British equivalent of Sandro Hit, in looks and movement.”
Toomyvara II, 15/16th thoroughbred, 1/16th Connemara and in the same ownership since 2 years old, has competed succesfully across the disciplines, eventing as a young horse, affiliated show jumping and latterly, up to advanced level dressage. Now aged 19, she is still completely sound, actively training and competing.
